Their sports included Australian rules football, basketball, netball, and soccer, ensuring the results apply to athletes in different team sports—exactly the demographic that relies on consistent recovery to maintain performance.

Experimental Design: Randomized Crossover, Comparing Against Yourself

Using a "randomized crossover design," each athlete experienced three warm-up protocols to avoid individual differences affecting results [Showed in the Figure 1] :
